Race Point ORV question

A friend is going out to the Race and he asked me if the 4-wheel Jeep Compasse with the right size tires and all is OK for getting the 7-day permit. He understands the limits of using this vehicle, just wants to know if he can get the permit.

I concur with tb; however, be advised that it is only open approx 1 mile to the north (meaning you can not get anywhere near the lighthouse) and all the way south to #8 - and the beach will be impassable at places at high tide, so don't get trapped. Give it a week to heal if you can.
