Becuase you have to be able to use radar, GPS, Fishfinder you have to know you to navigate for real 'dead reckoning'. you need to know about engines and marine safety, how to use a radio, nav rules and regs. Then once your on site then it tides, currents, bait etc just like a shore guy. Alright who's with me?
