Tie a chicken neck to a string and toss it off a dock in a river near the salt water. I've seen big crabs in Barrington. After a few minutes , pull the string in and the crabs hang on. You need to put a little dip net under them cause when you break the surface , they will let go. They drop right into the net. Try different spots .

Better check the law cause I think there is a minumum size for crabs but don't know what it is.
