First keeper of year

From a hole up an inlet, on a big green popper, made by Striper Mike ? from western ma.
30" not fat but just right for the grill
Caught 12 other fish just below leagal size it was low tide
Christian's blue & silver popper got 3
salty's green needle got 7
and a 2oz mac color lipped swimmer got 2
many other hits all with no hook ups all within 1 hr time

I'm glad that green popper worked--I used a Yellow/white one in the Ct. River a couple weeks ago and caught several decent bass--16 lbs. 19 lbs, abd 20lbs.

Yo Mike, that Popper lays flat POPS & WALKS like no tomorrow casts straight I plan on using it the next time I hit that spot.
