strange reports

reports of five foot long humbolt squid
in california everywhere with schools of bait so large
one fisherman said it was miles wide and radar couldnt see bottom...
and that they haven't seen this since the 1930's
all due to colder than normal water temperatures

on the other hand Greenland waters are so warm
that the ice is quaking or thundering as it cracks
and codfishing is outstanding and tourism booming.
there's even flights out of baltimore to greenland
as the harbor stays open all year long now...

Damn Squid

Yes humboldt squid squid it is. Years ago, a fishermen fell over board while squid fishing down in the Sea of Cortez. A squid, 4 feet long. grabbed him at ankle, vice grip style. Pulled him down so fast his eardrums ruptured; pressure. Then it let go. He survived.
