Hunter rod racks...

the url is:
www.hunterfishingproducts.com.

My freind has one. The rack is beautiful and locks both rods and reels securely.

The catch is it doesn't fit conventional reels. They are working on a conversion kit right now. I talked with one of the owners. Nice people. He said if I buy the rack he'd either send me plans to do the conversion myself or send me the prototype kit.

Not cheap. The four rod set up retails for about $279.00. They have them in stock at The Goose in Orleans.

Has anybody used the VacMounts at the rodmounts.com site? I just got a new car with no roofrack (at least it has a sunroof ) . The vacuum thing looks a little scary for a couple hundred bucks of gear, but the site claims they hold. Pretty cheap too....
