Matt Clement.....
Saw him being interviewed by Tina today...... please no...I really do not want to see him again every five days. What's his record with the Sox? Seems like every game he started was torture to watch.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

He was God awful. He reminds me of Matt Young. Just without Youngs talent!

Wasn't he in the All-Star game before his injury?
Hey, if he'll take a reasonable contract to stay, I'd give him a shot. He had some good stuff... for a couple months anyways.

Clement could be a key player come the playoffs if he is healthy and he brings his old stuff. The season is long and if he can spot start or come out of the bullpen when needed down the stretch he will be a great addition.

Clement is the classic case of a player who has "great stuff". Every GM in baseball thinks that if they sign these guys, they will be a Cy Young winner for their team. There is a reason that these pitchers make it into free agency. It's because they can't translate their "great stuff" into success.
That being said, I hope to see Clement pitching for the Sox this year. But only in a mop-up situation after the Sox have clinched the division.
