Weird question here....
I want to get a quote off of a MASH dvd and put it in my Ipod. (don't ask...nothing good will come of this venture )
Any ideas on how I could do this? Remember...I'm a computer moron
Thanks folks!

"Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice!" - Sidney Friedman
There's so many but that one is classic!
"Mary had a little lamb"
"He knows I'm here"
"How do you know that?"
"I'm Mary"

When I was a kid I used to audio record entire episodes so I could listen to them in my bed. When they're on TV Land now it's like the "wayback" machine
I'd download a capture utility like
http://www.download.com/CaptureWizPr...-10672169.html
or something similar. You should be able to just play the DVD and snag the audio track pretty easily. Edit it and save as an .mp3.
There may be easier tools as well.

I used a dvd ripper and transfered all my DVDs to my hard drive. This way when my kid destroys another Cars movie DVD I can burn him another one!
Here is a ripper that lets you transfer to iPod.

Many options out there. Just be ready to spend a LOT of time with it. Video editing/transferring takes time and is CPU intensive.
Good luck!
