Thumbs up Van Staal and Saltwater Edge

Peter at SWE: Thank you for your help it was much appreciated!! My vs150 will get some work this week (I hope).

Craig at VS: Thank you! I definitely appreciate your understanding of the situation and the response was what you expect from a company that stands behind its product 100%.

Nice to see two businesses step up for a customer in need.

Thank you

Peter takes his job as seriously as his fishing. He runs a very efficient ship with some very able and knowlegeable crewmates at SWE.

The next age of striper fishing should take SWE and its inhabitants as an example. And try their best to duplicate it.

....only to fail in their attempts of course

Standing on the water, casting your bread
While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing
Distant ships sailing into the mist
You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing

I am very critical of those who supply my gear, and I can honestly say SWE is about as good as it gets. That's not to take anything away from other quality shops, but the SWE guys seem to go the extra mile for their customers.

When I ordered my VS, they asked if I wanted a smooth or geary one, and then tried the ones they had to find what I wanted. On another occasion, I wanted to know if a certain plug fit in a certain bag, so in stead of guessing, Earl found the plug and the bag and tried it with me on the phone.

They need to open a shop on the other side of the bridge.
