Weekend?

My better have is bugging me to do some stuff that's been on my "need to do" list forever, then she mentioned King Richard's Fare with the kids...aaaahhh. The forecast looks great and I'm going to go nuts if I can't get out. Hey John, it's been 3 weeks since I hit the south shore and I noticed you said it had slowed. I heard a rumor that Quincy Bay was on fire this past week, have you heard anything that would confirm that. If I can get out I'm torn between launching in Scituate and heading north to check things out, or launching in Plymouth and heading towards the power plant...which is also rumored to be hot right now.

If I knew Rhode Island at all, I would probably head that way, based on the #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&'s reports. I've never fished down that way, are there any good ramps to launch in productive areas? When this season is done, I've got to round up some good charts for the state, but which areas would be best to start with? Well, just curious what's happening, since I've been a landlubber for weeks, lol.

Tight lines.
