John,

If no one on here is a tire dealer - check out tirerack.com. Have used them for wife's car. Only paid $10 shipping per tire and could have had them dropped shipped to a local tire place that is one of their recommended local installers. They have listings of who will install them locally and what it will cost, plus ratings of those places.

I picked up two Kumho tires for her Maxima and they were only $50 each. The tires had been compared to some other big brand name tires and came out very well in their testing. They also had a ton of reviews from people that actually used the tires, and people that had driven with them quite a bit. Two other co-workers have used them as well, and they were also very pleased.

john,

on the recommendation of another member here... a few years back i went to

Bennett Street Tire & Glass
(781) 598-1613
60 Bennett St
Lynn, MA 01905
http://www.bennettstreettireglass.com

to get some new michelins for my former sand sled.

you couldn't beat their prices.

a bit out of the way, but, IIRC, even with the drive and time factored in (you know where I live), it was well worth the trip for me.

give 'em a call ... they are good at quoting prices over the phone.
