Personally I thought he would have lasted longer. I don't think he ran a good campain at all and could never shake the "I'm made of plastic" persona he's so good at.
For the MA people, was he this stiff as Gov?

He was pretty stiff as Governor here, but he did a good job in my opinion. He just has that "plastic" look that people can't get past and a lot of people think he's phony. The funny thing is that people in Mass don't like him because of the "rich, white guy" elitist image, yet Kerry and Kennedy continue to get voted in year after year. I guess it's because they are just regular Joe's like the rest of us common folk.
