Sun Glasses
I cringe every time I need a new pair and cry ever time I destroy one; why are perscription glasses so damn much money. Ok best "boating" perscription sunglasses and are there any deals online for these things, I'm tired of shelling out $400-$500 for glasses?

I buy clip on sunglasses to go over my prescription glasses. They are only about 20 buks at bj's and the are polarized. Work just fine and at that price you can have spares. I wear tri focals and to buy a pair of sunglasses with my prescription costs a bundle. I know how you feel.

Maybe check out something like Action Optics.
Polarized, glass, some lenses are photochromic, and nice frames.
Depending on your prescription and the frame you might be able to sneak in under $200.
$200 isn't inexpensive, but it's better then the $400 to $500 range.

Bob I get mine at Sears $150.00 if you get them with your regular glasses. By the way the ice is back off the water how about Sat. Mike go find your own dame fish and leave mine alone By the way I found some more winter over fish in a river closer to you Mike . I was told to try a small island in this river for deer we did and as we watched 9 thats right 9 nice bucks run off the end of the island and swim away as we walked it I saw fish in the mudflats working some bait. Bob I told you there had to be fish in the river all year

If you are a member of AAA you can get a 30% discount on glasses at Lenscrafters.
Have you ever thought about contacts? It eliminates that problem all together and you can get as many pairs of sunglasses as you want.

I use Fitovers (same type as Cocoons). At about $35 a pair I have one in the car and the boat. They are wrap around and polarized with UV protection and come with a neck lanyard.

These are not prescription but I have had these for a few years and I love them and the price is right, around 50 bucks. Light weight and great lenses.
