Surf rod, stripped guide ?

Thinking about putting together a 11' rod this winter, What size stripped guide should i use. The reel will be a Penn 706Z.

my 2 cents,,,,anything below 9' 6 =40////above a 9'6 is a 50......don't care for high foot guides,but each his own I guess.

what about a 75 perfection SS if you want to go the steel route?

706 is a big reel I would go with the #50

Yeah , the 50 is probably the better choice for that reel.

I don't like the perfections. used to use the SS mildrens but the perfections it seems like the chrome plating tends to flake off with time..
