But i needed to re-fuel before doing so
LUNCH break..............................
just got back from buying snowblower gas
and picked up some more free kindling
and hauling home some stumps..... so i'm READY
Great....just in time for the MSBA show! Will probably be going in the afternoon now so we can clean up the snow. Expecting 5" in northern Worc cty.....then 52 and 53 degrees on Mon & Tues....spring is almost here!
I must say that I didn't mind the snow as much this year. Having this tractor snowthrower has made a big difference. Best of all that whole thing was 100% free! Someone gave the attachment to my Father in Law several years back. The tractor we got out by the road that someone was throwing away. Put a battery in it and it fired right up.
I finally convinced him to give me the attachment and over a couple of years, I rigged it all up. I had to make mounts and get everything bolted up right. This year, I finally have it all set. Properly weighted, tire chains, wheel weights (brake rotors), new belts, and all lubed up. It works like a charm. Really throws snow pretty well, especially the super heavy stuff at the end of the driveway the big plows leave behind. I have a big driveway and a lot of space between house and garage and this does a great job at cleaning up. It is fun too! I should have more footage on youtube in a day or two If I can find time to capture more video. A part of me gets excited when I hear there is snow coming.
