Question Best New Gear at the Show

Great show MSBA! What did everyone like as far as gear goes? First and foremost, the Black Lab welded aluminum boats are awesome (hmm, Chum Bucket II), have to start saving my pennies! I also thought the new swing hook heads from RonZ were real nice, he's used a stronger hook with a swing arrangement and cast a swivel into the head, makes it real hard for a fish to get leverage. I've been waiting for him to put stouter hooks in those baits, and the swing design gives it even more action. The last thing that really impressed me, although I can't think of a reason I would need it at this point in my life, was the gigantic Aquaskinz tackle duffle. Did you guys see that thing? Very impressive and well made (like all of their stuff), if I was a guy who traveled a lot to fish I would definitely own one, well priced too! So watcha see that impressed you?

I liked John's Zeebaas. If it wasn't for line twist, swivels in the rod tip, uselessly short shock leaders, finger rip, and my fishing buddys' scorn I might get one to swim with. Still tempting. Thought the new Lami blank had a nice feel...........would probably build out as a nice plugging conventional.

Don't forget the man-boobs that come with a spinning reel ...

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to look around for things to get. Just didn't have the chance

Salty's jointed needle fish in the predator color.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
