Fishing Portsmouth NH Waters

I've returned home to Southern Maine after living in California for 25 years. It's good to be home but I can't find the fish. I catch a few schoolies but that's it. I've tried everything I tried in California. I look for structor and always find lobster traps in any location that looks good. Any suggestions. Come on spring! I have a 22 foot boat.
