Another day, another pond
Well, had to take the day off to get some people back to thier schools and home. Got back in time to take advantage of the afternoon warmth so......it was trout fishing again for the kid.

Nice pictures. It was a beautiful day out. Perfect weather for working around the yard, or fishing as you proved.

Nice fish! All the trout lakes near me (nw boston) still have a coating of ice as of this weekend. Still a few weeks off for me. Looking forward to trout this spring. Just got a batch of new Rapalas to try out.

I had a decent couple hours this afternoon myself...and when I was leaving saw a guy set up for salmon with shiners land a Smallie that was well over 4 lbs, maybe even five, the fish was just amazing. I did not ask him to take a pic, but I tell you this fish had a big grey belly and was ready to spawn. He released the fish...I thought that was pretty cool!!!!
I had to keep one little Rainbow as the poor thing was hurt pretty good. That's what I get for starting ot with the Dope (Powerbait). All the rest came on lures and were released.

Nice job Flap on the trout. They were pretty agressive where I was today. I had 8" browns eating my 5" jerkbait.
