Now he's all puffed up to impress like he is the king of the Truro woods. The out on the beach watching whales at the Race within casting distance ( was so amazed forgot to snap pictures) then we saw these funny little birds on Race Point South with rings around thier necks running in the tire tracks ( there goes the neighborhood)

they are programmed to stay in tire tracks so more beaches get shut down when they dont move out of the way for a big SUV

nice trout though

So then we head back to the upper Cape where we split up I got a few coats of urethane on the boat seats then jumped in to the truck and headed to a Nantucket Sound location and caught these little Striped things ( I had been trying since Tuesday night but this evening was the first hits and fish on for a total of 2 hits missed and 3 landed.

Left there and went to a upper Cape trout pond with no luck there but many trout rising for a hatch and just sitting and watching the sun set and the swallows feating on the bugs rising as the truot were rising to take as well was the perfect end to a perfect Cape Cod day!

That soon what I live for will be at hand again. Within a month I will be back in my skiff floating across golden flats in a 39 year old skiff with scores of bass riding the tide in shallow water my only companions.

Well, maybe George will finally succumb to my pleading and come with me so he can see what you have seen and experienced.

Great pictures. I fished chatham ponds both sat and sun. Caught a few big largemouths. There were as many herring in stillwater as I can remember. Several huge schools and fish in the brush all around the pond.

No offense but the lure looks like something off the shelf made of plastic.
What up with that? Now at least you can tell us what lure that is!
