A big Musso swimmer

Cedar with a belly weight. Swims about 4 - 5 feet down. Sort of an eel color scheme.

Liking that. They cast well, too. Now loose the tail hook and you're good to go.

Curious. Why loose the tail hook? No hook instead?

Should have read "lose". Plug will swim better without (just put a flag on there). Bass will inhale it head first, the tail hook usually just mutilates them, you, or ends up snagged in weeds and lets them rip the plug free when they get their face in the bottom.
