So you're at your spot and along comes your wife/so?

I used to love her.
But I had to kill her...

That would be something I have been trying to get her to do for years. I would be shocked and happy to see her.

They yap though, then they tell their friends, and their friends tell their husbands and before you know it....

I knew I'd miss her
So I had to keep her
She's buried right in my favorite spot.

I've had this happen once and it wasn't good. I left my cell phone in the car and she was trying to call me to see what time i was coming home. When I got to the car she was pulling in with the kids in the back(9:30pm) and almost crying because she got worried something happened to me. I was a couple of hours late coming home and I usually call but this time I didn't. She was nervous because of a news story about a surf fishing guy getting washed away. I was glad though that I told her where I was going ahead of time.

pack it up and call it a day... cause the only reason she is there is to ruin it.

also hope those other girls who had shown up are gone.

My woman hates me,doesn't trust me and would never come to my spot unless she was checking up on me to see if I'm really fishing or if our son begs her to come see me.Not sure what the heck her problem is after all these years ?

Talking

I met my future wife at my spot. My long time fishing partner said "hey that's my sister". I never knew he had one. He doesn't talk much.

My favorite response! Seems too many husbands these days just try to get rid of the wives instead of wanting to include them....its too bad she does not want to join you! While my hubby and I dont do absolutely everything together we do MOST things together. We arent just married...were best buds!

Simplify.......

Maybe I am the only one with a wife like this, but she is from Minnesota. She can out fish any guy I know. So when she shows up I know there is dinner on the table. Last year I went fishing, and nothing was being caught. She dropped a line in an hour had 5 keepers, and three were a solid 25+ lb fish. So Like the song from the 70's I am the lucky one.

Some guys get all the luck. The one spot my wife knows, she'll pop in empty handed, no coffee or anything, snuffs out my smoke and gives me the lecture about smoking, then in a Monk type coniption fit start rearranging my tackle bag.

So we need to come along, keep quiet, not touch anything, and somehow have food on the table for our arrival home as well? That's a tall order.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
