So I've been off from work this week and have been spending alot of time fishing my local spot with no results.I've been bringing my son with me and he's really starting to like it.Especially after yesterday.We were walking the beach,I was plugging he was throwing his plankton lure with no hooks on his spongebob pole getting used to casting it.I saw a bunch of fins and splashes.Cool a ball of bait right near shore.So I only have my plugbag and small one at that.I start throwing around the school in hopes a bass or blue would swim by and maybe like what I have.No luck.I have a snag hook in my truck and another rod and reel.First I throw on a Yellow AH needle and snag a bunker with it.My son is loving it.He wants to bring it home and show everyone.So I put the rear needle hook in the bunker let it swim out and handed the pole to him and told him hold it while I go to the truck.He's yelling I got one and it's fighting.The whole time it's just the bunker swimming around.I get back and the school is getting closer so I toss the snag hook in and get another couple.The school is getting spooked.Here's the kicker the last one I snagged the school started really boiling and heading for land.Right where Adam is standing.He was freaking out in like a countdown saying "too many fish,Too many fish,Too many fish" all the time he's backpeddling on the beach.Was priceless that moment in time being there with the bunker pushing on the beach in a big boiling school right in front of my son who is just starting to get more and more into fishing.The one thing I didn't bring.The one time I didn't bring it.My Camera.
