Does anyone else
Feel sleepy as hell after drinking one of those socalled energy drinks? I noticed this on the plane coming back from FLA and yesterday at the canal. Yesterday I had 2 large AMP energy drinks and went out like a light. I wanted to fish all night but went nearly comatose. Anyone, whats up with that?

They do more for me the next morning. For example, i'll drink one while night fishing, go home around 2 am, and wake up at 8 and feel a heck of a lot better than if I didnt take one.. I really need 9 hours of sleep to be normal... any less and I am a mess.

Backbeach Jake -
Try Red Bull. It works for me. Never tried any of the other energy drinks.

Red Bull does work but the best I have found is RockStar in the blue can...its sugar and carb free and tastes like grape soda...my husband and I love it and it has def worked when it was needed most!!

You need to keep your calorie intake more consistent. If you're running on empty the energy drink will give you a boost then a crash.

so the drug addict is a fool for taking drugs to help him cope but red bull is ok cause ? if you cant do it on your own dont use an aid to do it .
Fred your better off not using it . besides you have fished for how long with out it .
this is just my opinion . evertime I see some one use it . I make a comment .

I do believe you're right Chris, I was fine without it. Didn't want coffee, hoped the drink would help keep my chin up, but nooooooo.
I'm done with it.

Be careful drinking energy drinks on low fuel I have found they can make you nauseous and jittery. I do drink the blue monster drinks and they help when I am running on empty!
when I drove to west palm beach a few years ago I tryed staying awake by taking those no-dose pills wow don't take those I stayed awake but after a few more hours of driving I started seeing things never again I think I will pick sleeping from now on
