Slingah,

Wendy and I went fishing and since we have some visitors from three different states coming to visit this weekend we decided to harvest a couple for a S-B for a fish fry. Of course on the way back to the car I had to be a gentleman and carry the ladies fish as well as my own.

Rennovating the new house, new area to earn, new job. Haven't put in as much time as I wanted, but done well all things considered. Been doing a bunch of short trips after work with OK results, lost of cookie cutter bass in the 24" range, mostly on topwater. 8 weeks from now I'll be halibut fishing in Alaska for my honeymoon, hopefully I'll have some good stories then.

Yo, yeah, I caught two keepers today at the ditch. Herrings were there. Went to Cotuit and got skunked and broke my rod's tips. Went to see mIkecc and got it fixed and had a short chat withhim. I decided to head to the ditch. I didn't expect to land my first keeper of the season after three days straight of skunkage. The first one was a 28.5 inches that I hooked it on a pt. Jude sandeel. I released it because it didn't feel right to keep it. I don't think that it was worthy for me to brag. Then I tried using other stuffs like plastics and poppers. I switched to 2 oz pt. jude nautlis. After three casts, I hooked a 36 inches and 20 lbs bass. Drove and weighed it at M&D's. Man, it felt so awesome. I have been waiting for something like this since I was 18 years old and starting out. Five years of waiting. MikeCC has a picture of it. I think. My picture isn't the best, but hopefully it will make you guys to be more hungry for it.

29.5# this morning. I'll try and post a pic tonight when I get home. If I can figure out how to resize the pic. Shortly after that fish, I had a cow straighten out a trebble. I got a quick look at her, I'm guessing well over 35#.

seals + plovers =

Just finished getting the boat rigged, been out twice trying to get use to it, not much fishing.

Funny thing is I went out the other day with a friend just to try boat, no bait, he says what a great day I wish we brought bait!
I gave him a 1/2 oz Lima bean buck tail jig, caught 5 great Sea Bass big knots on there head! Couple of nice size Scup.

Now the fun begins!!

Fish are in at BI, up to 42lbs. I was the camera man not the catcher.
