Hi guys - Im heading to the block tonight - planning an early morning assault. - should I bring my own bait or can I buy eels out there. I tried calling BI Fishworks but just got voicemail. Any info appreciated.

Everything runs on Block Island time out there. They may have what you want but they're not open when you want it. Bring your own or take your chances. I ALWAYS bring my own.

bring your own. twin maples will probably have them, but they've been really small everytime I bought them there. BI Fishworks doesn't sell eels, and is almost always closed in my limited experience out there.

John always hooks me up with nice eels but it is worth bringing them. I always call him first to make sure that he has some.
