gear for tog

i have a 7' rod with 20lb test, is this setup ok for getting some tog? my other rod is a 9' with 20lb test i assume that would be too big.

i was using a 6'6 rod with 30lb line. i didn't loose any fish because of nicks from the rocks, but the 30lb gave me an insurance. i did lose alot of sinkers and hooks. get ready for that. if u don't lose any tackel, you might be fishing the wrong spot for togs. good luck.

The shorter rods are fine from boats or bridges but prefer to use at least 9' with 25# from shore.
