Fox Point Hurricane Barrier

Wow, Actually some hope, thanx to you guys!
I got a big Bluefish bite at the hurricane barrier today on a 4" Storm Wildeye Shad swimbait, the large teethmarks still remain....Do more stripers come this time of year or in the winter??
Does anyone know where the small stream of rushing water is, near the ferry dock?? You know that ledge you can climb onto and fish right into it? Well that's where I got bites. Does anyone suggest any baits to use here, or on the boardwalk on other side near the Fish company?? I saw , towards the end of the day, about 20 rods in the water over there!!! Why so many??!! Everyone was using dead baits, but no one was catching anything. Is there a certain time that poeple kno when fish concentrate around there??!! SSX and I were amazed.
