plugging stick??

Looking for a plugging stick, trying to stay with 10'. I primarily fish the canal, but do fish from the beach as well. I just bought the new shimano 10' tiralejo, and am not as impressed as I would have hoped. It is rated 3-6, and I think I want something that throws less than 3 oz as well. What do you guys think? Any info is helpful, was thinking of returning it and getting a 10' lami?????

Thumbs up

Lami 1201m fantastic plugging stick for that range, throws big ole' eels too.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

Maybe only for you.

I can throw 2 oz on conventional--even that conventional

Check out the Tica Dolphin 10'6" as well...M&D in Wareham carries them. I've cast 1.5oz lures with it and it seems to work decently well. Heaved sluggos w/ 4-5oz jigheads into the canal as well, but it's not too happy doing that :-)
