baitfish id?

blues were puking up these guys and squid. are they herring fry? they are an inch long or so. a little ne wind does wonders. acres of blues gorging themselves. it's about time

I got two 10lb + blues in the canal last night, first blues I have seen all year. No matter where I went on the canal, they turned my eels into cigar butts. Sore shoulders today.

NIB, there are plenty of nice bass if you can avoid the blues. I was kinda hoping I could make it the entire year without a blue. I consider a trip without a bass, even if I catch some blues, a skunking

look like whiting to me.the shape,the tail, and the location of the mouth.caught a bunch in my throw net about 8 years ago in buttermilk bay mixed in with peanuts about 4" and 5" long.the whiting were like 10" long.
