In my neighborhood
This was literally right around the corner from where I live (1/4 mile) I take this road home on the hot days on the bike as it's a nice cool ride.

I heard the medflite and all the sirens but didn't hear what happened til yesterday. WTF I hope she's ok. Innocent hike in the woods with her dad.

I saw the picture in today's paper. Who would do such a thing to another human being? Horrible.

nothing yet that I know of. I think it was kids and a slingshot. I think the howling back and forth sounded like a wolf or something to them and they shot in that direction.

Sad, but at least they believe no permanent damage will come of it besides the scar and memory. I am sure some teen will brag to the wrong person and get caught.
