Moment of Silence at 8:45 am this morning
Please, let us have a Moment of Silence this morning at 8:45 to remember what happened 6 years ago and honor those that were lost.

The time line for the events goes like this:
8:46 AM, AAL Flt.11 hits 1 WTC
9:03 AM, UAL Flt. 175 hits 2 WTC
9:59 AM, 2 WTC collapses
10:28 AM, 1 WTC collapses.

Did anyone else catch the special on The History Channel last night? It was a minute by minute collection of footage, 911 calls, audio, etc. all mixed together in chronological order. There was alot of footage there I've never seen on TV. There was people literally a block away that video'd the collapse. Incredibly riviting footage. And still incredibly sad to this day.

Yep. Riveting footage and interviews. Never realized how much boats were used to evacuate, nor how much water that one boat provided to fight the fires. (No pressure from hydrants...)

Not mad at your comment but
Just so you know for the last seven years they have been plotting something else...
and the fact that an INNOCENT friend I grew up with died,,,
and it was Seven years ago that I lost the job I worked 5 years to get the experience to have...
Not to mention flying over the smoking and burning wreckage for 2 weeks after....  |
