High Points For The Season

I know the season is not even close to over yet and maybe the best is yet to come but I want to hear if anyone has any high points this season so far? Maybe a personal best or a particular day or night was great or maybe you achieved some personal goal??? Lets hear it!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

OK I will go second! I enjoyed some success in the Canal finally this season! Best part was it came on my plugs! Not only did I finally get my first Canal keeper but I got about 15 that day...biggest being 26+ pounds, not a cow but a major break through for me and it came on my new Canal Pencils! The "Prey" has proven to be a great Canal swimmer also so I was pretty happy with my progress in the ditch! Also have been enjoying my new wetsuit! It has changed the way I fish and I am just getting going as the best part of the season approaches! Looking for a 40+ from the surf this fall on my wood....its gonna be the Danny or the "Prey"! Happy with this season so far but looking for being overjoyed!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Last weekend, at daybreak. Best action so far. Multiple bass, and the shortest was 38"s.

Be encouraging, not discouraging

took my first giant. 91" 473 pounds. i had never targeted giants before and actually tried to talk the boat owner into chasing sbft. he said no and he was right. we had lines in for about and hour and the bluefish started freaking out next thing the penn 80 started screaming.

Got out to Montauk for the first time. I got to figure out what was where and got my first taste of fishing from the rocks.

First pic is my first wave and the second is my second trip with my first bass under the light.

Landed my personal best, 43.10 pounds on a heavy surf/HEAVY lightning night when i shouldnt even have been fishing... It was the very first fish on a brand new rod, and my PB didnt come in the fall like I thought it would, but at the end of may, facing the open ocean, nowhere near any bay, river, or adult menhaden... I regretted not joining the striper cup, but am quickly realizing that competing with anyone other than myself is a huge fun-stripping headache
