so what price range are these giants going for? with the us and japanese economies being what they are and there being a bunch of giants being caught. is the price in the crappa?

Over the last few weeks I've heard price ranges of $9-13/lb.

$12 is the average lately.
Pretty far from the late 80s - early 90s, but better than lots fetching less than $5 in recient years !
I talked with a bud today, he says some are getting upwards of $18
