DROOL !!!

I've been seeing this boat in the harbor the past 2 weeks and all I can say is WOW, what a beauty !!!
It's a brand new 38 Northern Bay, and for anyone who knows downeast boats, these Northern bays are FAST !

About that from what I understand
I think cruise on them is 20-22 and top end us less than 30...
still fast for a downeast hull, but not double 22....

Very nice lines, not too high of a freeboard in the cockpit area. This helps getting the big ones aboard.

Most of them get up to 35kt depending on the power plant .
Some have been getting low 40kts at the Mine lobster boat races

To ger 35+ knots out of that you have to be looking at 800-900 HP, I don't think i would want to feed that, probably around 70 GPH. Although if you gave me one i wouldnt complain.

Northern Bay is hands down one of the prettiest downeast hulls out there, and they are fast, most will certainly cruiser up to 25 kts without much effort. If that's not fast enough for ya, I don't know what to say.... sure, most of the Clorox bottle cookie cutters on the water today can run 30+ kts, but they look like crap doing it.
