..scaredeee catz!! I bet Slip wouldve tried my Octupus...

..ya gotta be spontanious, although I heard Goose has grown a few more legs since he ate it on CH.

Most people don't believe how my family used to spend their Thanksgivings...or what we'd eat anyways. My grandfather had 10 children. 5 boys - 5 girls. Many eons ago everyone would make it to his house...little by little it got smaller and smaller...but

Anyways, point being - on our tables you'd find Octupus Stew - Lasagna - Pork & Little Necks - Shrimp Mozambique style - Baked stuffed shrimp - Seafood Casserole - one year brought steamed mussels - Broccoli casserole - 3 Different kinds of stuffing - mashed tatoes - boiled tatoes - fried tatoes - tons of veggies peas, carrots etc...my God the list could go on and on ..we even had rock crabs for dessert one year. ( yeah, I ain't chittin ya) We had strong family values. Like others have said, times change..the familys' not as strong. Many have chosen their own paths, never looking back. I will always remember those times though. Traditions die unless we make them with our own family.

oh, did I forget to mention the 3 turkeys?...would you believe well over 20 pies (pumpkin - squash - apple)?? numerous cakes and pastries?? yes, it was a day of celebration....

Joe, I forget...did you try the octupus?

Spaetzles
Hey - bring Spaetzles to the next leg - cheaper than shrimp too (only kidding, bring the shrimp)

I've had Speatzle twice in the past 16 years but for a while had it several timers per week - Love it

Best stuffing I ever had was Cherico stuffing. Wish the wife liked it then I would enjoy it every Turkey day.
