i,ve had a wiff of gas around my meter now n then, wife too. so i call the gas co. there here in less than 1 hr .he finds the leak ,its on my side of the meter.. bummer man he tells me he got to shut off the meter and cap it off...double bummer... and i got to fix it myself or hire a plummer no heat tonight till i fix it in the morning . good thing is i told wife got to snuggle up tonight .....maybe i'll get lucky
Out here it cost me $18.00 to fix a gas leak. $75 for the permit and $45 for the gauge and fittings to pressure test it before the gas company would turn it back on. Parts only, my labor. For a older single lady that lives nearby. She didn't have the money to fix it. Got no help or sympathy from Phoenix city or APS gas. She had to leave in her night gown and robe, spent 6 days with me as we talked to every department downtown for help.
