Hi Doc,
Is catching really the motivating factor? Or is taking a few casts a perfect way to excuse yourself from the table and taking a break from the family!!!! "Sorry guys, I'd love to stay, but the tide is peaking and I want to fish the first two hours of the ebb"
Seriously, there might be a twinkie or two still skulking around. I'd bring a rod, or like Little Round said, go fresh. Let us know...

I would guess that up inside ACK harbor or out to Madaket Harbor there could be some little guys, if the weather is decent, why not! Good Luck!

The vice-president elect is going to be there with the fam and all his new secret service buddies. Give them a big hello from all of us.

I am slightly south of there but yesterday there was a MASSIVE school of fish and birds going nuts off the south shore. The school was over a mile wide and well out of casting range. No matter, I watched them for a while. If I had to guess..I would say bluefish but I could not see them.
There are still bluefish being caught here. I know someone who has caught them every time out. A nice bass (over 40) was caught a few days back too. I think you still could get them on Nantucket, but the conditions could suck if the weather goes bad.
Then again you could harpoon a "butter-ball" seal on Great Point and cook that sucker for Thanksgiving.
