ice fishing the cape ????

i got the bug ....MAYBE this yr we will get a chance to ice fish the cape kettle ponds ...MAYBE NOT.... but if the ponds do stiff'n up i'm in....i like to fish for salmon n trout w/ tilts ...but the jigger stick is my first love for perch and bass fishing who's the perch men out there .got any hot spots for the perchie ???? at least lie to me...

All ponds on the cape have big perch. Game warden told us to kill them all in BCF pond.

We interupt this marriage to bring you fishing season!!!

I agree, the perch fishing is fantastic once you find them. Trout and salmon (I have never been lucky enough to get a salmon but my uncle has gotten a couple) can be fantastic. Just a few feet down from the ice seems to be a good way of rigging.

As soon as there is safe ice I'll be down. Lots of great ponds for big perch but I like the lake with pike in it, it has some big perch in there but lots of others too.
