Missed The Boat!

I wanted to catch the 5pm boat last night to the island in the worst way but, just couldent put it together.

I had to settle for fishing the south shore of rhode island......It was most likely the best thing that could have happened!!!

I ended up with nine fish last night to 39lbs on eels and needle fish!! The location was on the south shore and thats as close as Im saying!! Steve had 15 fish last night. There were mullet all over the place and these things were huge!! There were fish all over it seemed.I ended up at watch hill and bumped into tim Coleman,He had fish there all night also...Anyway,Im not ready to put the rod down yet! The hell with the house chores and the leaves.

I cant wait for tonight, now do I go to the island or, stay on the mainland???? Decsions,Decisions...........

MAINLAND!!! I'm catchin' the 2pm train instead of the 5pm and gittin' some eels. This may be my last blast as the baby will be coming real soon!!!! I had this gut feeling you'd smoke 'em last night!!!!

Mullet still around on 11/2, wow. The water still has to be warmer than normal despite the week-long blue norther.

We still have mullet in the inlets here on LI, too, and even some lizardfish.

I'm thinking decent fish into December, here. The Christmas lights might go up before the leaves get raked
