Jackets/Embroidery?
Some one mentioned a way to recognize each other in passing at the upcoming shows and such.
I have been wanting to get myself a jacket with an embroidered Striped Bass on the back.
I thought that possibly a bunch of us might want to have some made?
I havent researched this yet so if anyone knows of a good place to have this done? If anyone is interested?
After all I am sure that having a dozen or more made would save $$$ over having just one made??
Any ideas? Interest?
JohnR what do you think?

this subject has always seemed to be a popular one. i say patches, can put them on anything, from shirts, jackets, to bags. somebody said before that they use duct tape.

I agree , a patch is the best idea. Put them where you want.
This topic has come up a million times going back to the SFMB patches from the WMI days. Great idea that never seems to get off the ground.

Ok guys I know I can get jackets or shirts done. I have a jacket made by the Charles River Clothing Co. It has a sweatshirt style lining, and a nylon shell. It also has a hood. I wear it in the winter, fall and spring. I know I can get these done. The question is how many people can we get together to do it. I think the jackets would run about45-65 dollars embroidered. I will check into it. We could go the t shirt route , and get them silk screened. You guys decide.

I know John is working on the t-shirts but I would like a jacket too. Bill see what you can get for a price and let me know. I am sure we can sell off 20-30 but more than that I don,t know. Thanks GB

Say no more!
Come up with a design, and I'll get you some good pricing on embriodery!
I have a gentleman that I work with who has a side business for doing this. He has aproximately 500k worth of equipment at his
home.
He can scan designs & program them & stitch for Jackets...hats...and just about anything else they embroider...
If we can get an aproximation of how many would commit to purchase & of what... I can get some discount pricing for
whatever is needed!
Let me know...
Would Bloocrab be willing to do the design work?...
Someone should PM him & ask...
I love his creations on the board, and think that he would be THE perfect candidate to design something for us!
I'll go see about a catalog!...
let me know what you think about this!
