Monster Shallow Water Stripers
By Capt. Jimmy White.
Great book! I'm not big on reading books, more of a magazine guy, but I have to say..I couldn't put this one down. If you don't have it...Get it.. You will not regret... Besides...Jimmy is a great guy...

I 2nd it ;
&& the people I gave to as a gift / gave me a call to sa it was a good read ;;
My sister . recently got married [65] & moved to Virginia, well / last season I received a call from her ,around 10Pm . I said helllo >.& she started ranting & raving about [stripers] asking all kinds of questions . I said WTF why now ?? she said because we are out here & getting [smoked] . try to explain something to someone 600 miles away in a boat . how to catch a fish that I havn,t figured out in 50 years . oh yeah she,s one of those highly educated / book smart . street stupid people .
well I sent her the book & I told her that much of the content will work in her waters ;
&& it really will & that,s the plus .you can apply much of the content to many situations & area,s ;;

Monster Shallow-Water Stripers
Whether you fish for stripers with a fly, plug, or bait, this comprehensive resource for catching trophy fish in shallow water will become an indispensable guide. Captain Jim White shares his wisdom from over forty years of chasing and fishing for striped bass with the best in the business, including Shaw Grigsby, Lefty Kreh, Dan Blanton, Nick Curcione, and Bob Popovics. This book includes chapters on rigging and presentation, the best lures and flies, fishing the flats and estuaries, finding and targeting large fish.
I'm offering money saving combo-deals: Get Monster Stripers and Save $5 with a combo of Mike Laptew's New Video Secrets Of The Striper Pros, or Get Monster Stripers and Save $5 with a combo of Bass From The Beach by Tim Coleman

Probably the first time I have ever read a Clammer post without having to re-read it a couple of times to try to understand what he said.

Ya, for some reason he's becoming more clairvoyant in his old age.

I had the book a few weeks and I am really enjoying it. Certain people have a way of writing that works for me and this book does. As I read it, I have a map of the water I fish and have been identifying new areas to research and trying to see the impacts of current/tide and wind on each area.
definitley a well written book.
