Question I.D. old Lami blank

I was given an old Lami rod. The blank #1165 was on the butt section. It has a#12tip and the butt mikes out at 1.06. By the specs in the Mudwhole catolog it might be a sb1362F. I am planning to cut down this blank to 10' or 10'.6". I will mainly use this for pencil poppers and plugs 1.5oz.-4oz. This rod was used in it's full length 136" for chunking and it's at least 25 yrs. old. It is in good shape and I stripped the blank and ck'd it for nicks and cracks. All is O.K. With it's age do you think the resins would hold up. It hasn't been fished for 13-15yrs. Any info and suggestions would be appreciated.
