S-B Angler of the Year - 2008

Without getting into the big drawn out battles like last year when discussing who you would nominate for S-B Angler of the Year, let us have a names only nomination process that will last until midnight tonight.

Simple Rules:

  • Angler needs to be a member
  • Name only
I'll take these names and put up an anonymous poll.

Thanks,

John

Wished to have this up since the weekend but sick as a dog. Somebody from plugfest been infectin' people

Tossup between Redlite and TO.
I can't make the call, not voting (I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings). Or John, maybe you give one vote for me, one for Naked #^&#^&#^&#^&y.

tough call , ought to throw tynan into the hat too for an honorable mention.

With all due respect to others already mentioned, this should be a mere formality. Given our club participation in the Striper Cup, and Mike "Redlite" Veracka's well documented accomplishments during the May-September event, I have to second the nomination of Redlite for S-B Angler of the year.

Sauerkraut. At 62 no one punishes himself like he does for the sake of a fish. If you only knew how bad he has it.

Why even try.........

Redlite consistently dominated all year, from start to finish. No question he should get it.

Nebe, nice picture? Where the hell did you get that? The hat is vintage, circa 1985. I think it rotted away after too many bass trips. It was lucky though , not to mention warm, even if it was kinda ugly!
