Question Boat Inheritance

I have a question hopefully one of the sharpies here can help with. My father passed away a few years back and my brother and I have been using his 14 Aluminum Starcraft around the lakes and CT river where we grew up and always used it. My mother had continued to register it and trailer as CT and is the "official" owner.

Problem is I would like to register in MA, keep it in Harwich, and fish a few local ponds as well as Nauset Marsh, Stage Harbor and inside Pleasant Bay with it this spring.

What is the best way to get this done? Boat and trailer are very old (early 70's) and no hope for the title. Similar situation with a 10 yr old plastic 2 person basstender boat with electric motor I am looking to sell.

Thanks
