I can verify the wind and it sure was cold enough a few hours ago when Clammer and I splashed his new boat and took out the old one . Ran into a few people in the process including Gary Corsetti - all had nice things to say about the rig . Maybe we'll have some pics later.

One of the nicest tops I've ever seen was custom made for his boat. It's a stubby top that does not extend far aft to get in the way of casting. Plenty of comfortable hand holds and a nice fabric enclosure that buttons up the top nice! Sweet boat. Good lcuk with her Mike!

JOhnr Thanks for the help, I,m pleased ,few tweeks and she,ll be DONE
I was very pleased with the ride in that chop, it didn,t bother it at all, plus the get up out of the hole is great ==with no trim tabs/// I thought it was pretty try considering the wind

Now bring on the fish //////////

Mike glad to hear you finaly got it wet no not that the boat. How did you like that 150 HPDI? At the Prov. show they all said to get the HPDI and not the four stroke as it gets as good gas mileage and runs almost as quiet but still has the get up and go of the 2 stroke. I can troll it down to 1 knt. and she still runs as smooth as silk. Good luck with her .

Ps will you winterize or not?????

winterize by use
never winterized one in my life//

when we at the launch ramp/ some friends came in from duck hunting & was compaining about his Mercury 4 stroke not wanting to start ==when cold == same thing is happening at my dock with the guys with the suzuki,s///

THe motor ran well ,quiet, considering double oil, and of course we followed the proper breakin procedure we slowed down at 35 knots//

Looks sweet Mike, winterize by use, I like that. A man after my own heart, winter just means it's colder.

Mike she looks sweeeeeeeeeet I know you will have many happy hours together. The reason I asked about winterizing is I aways used my boats into the winter and never found the need to winterize do to the fact that they always got run every few weeks but this year I have not been out since Thanksgiven but have turned her over or run her every other week and the guys at Don's said as long as it gets turned over with oil going into the cylinders there is no need to .
