Fished the bank this morning on a solo trip, first trip of the year and it was lock and load from the first drop until 9:30 when I reached my 10 fish limit. Fish were between 105 and 150 feet and the water temp was 47. Somewhere around 6 shorts to 1 keeper. All fish were taken on Jigs and teasers and many many doubles. My arms are still sore, you couldn't keep the line in for more than 30 seconds before hooking up, totally awesome. Flat seas to boot!!

Only had one yellow Aquasport find me but by then I already had my limit. Only saw about 4 boats while fishing, got to love the weekdays.

Nice job. I was on the water yesterday too, in shallower water.. It was a beautiful day for sure.

I had some numbers from the week before that were in the shallows but I couldn't leave, Its hard to leave fish to find fish even though it would have been easier if they were in 90 ft. Most fish were caught in 125 feet but the best schools of bait w/ fish under them was at 150 ft. I should of taken a picture of the fish finder. Next week if there is a window in the weather I'm going to take the kids out and I'll probably start in shallower water.

LOL. I was in 10 feet of water, after bass, in a tin boat. Weather that day was spectacular.

Nice report !
Afternoons can be good also.
Sat morning we had 2 different little league games and team pics for my 2 sons, so I hung around in the morning to help my wife.
3 of us fished the bank in the afternoon.
Started out a different area I have been fishing to do some exploring, all shorts and tons of sea robins. (I got most of the the sea robins )
Made a long move and once there it was lock & load and we got our limit quickly with all keeper size fish.
On the down side, lots of the cod were being followed up by the dogs, so stay away from the bait and keep jiggin !

LETS GO BRANDON

Sounds like my schedule, 3 kids playing ball leaves little time especially on the weekends. Great job getting it done.
