they went as far as they could w/o kg...take away the best player from any team and this is what you'd get. methinks the bulls series took a lot out of them.

They were flat the last couple days and O beat them plainly in energy. They went reasonably far. Agree with Don.

Yeah it's too bad, I really thought they were going to find a way to win last night. Something positive is they found out Big Baby can play, I hope they sign him to a long term deal.

It was hard to watch, game 7,,, at the Gahden,,,, Sunday night,,, has historically been a sure thing.....But not this time.......
I guess the only good side to this series loss is we won't have to watch them get CREAMED by Cleveland...

You mean good luck Orlando? Atlanta got swept by the Cavs. The truth is they were just plain spent. Long season and long minutes by the starters in the playoffs add up to a spent team. They need to do something about the bench next season.

OPPS......had brain freeze while typing. ( ORLANDO).
I think our bench is fair, if all the starters can start.
I also think Rondo is a great player, but we need a really good
SHOOTING guard....(or two). Maubury was disappointing. |

It's easy to bash them, but I say the Truth is, we've had kick ass basketball the last two years (remember the 20yrs before last year).
What we did w/out KG and Powe was a pure team effort, the Chicago series was as good as it gets, and we took a healthy Orlando team to 7 games.
Thank you Celtics for a great year, next year the Championship is ours!!
Now go get em King James and get the title you so richly deserve.

We could have beat Orlando, we have much better coaching and chemistry. Orlando looked frustrated at times, even in the opening minutes of game 7. They will have there hands full with Lebron as they have little in the way of defense besides Howard. Unfortunately, as has been mentioned before, we just lacked energy. Paul Pierce is one of my favorite players but he was tired and we were short staffed. It was a good season no doubt
