10ft. 3 in. original grande rod
i have for sale a one piece, original grande lami rod for sale. it's white in color, the blank. set up for spinning, needs new eyes and a wrap. i would say about a 2 to 4 oz. rod. still has the grande emblem.
in case you younger guys are saying, who the hell is grande???
butch grande and charlie murat were regarded as the two best rod makers in r.i. for decades. perfectly balanced for hours of fishing. sorry, no pics. i'm in matunuck but can travel. i do have too much stuff. the price is 40.00

I hung out at Murats until Dave Hammock died in 1994. I was a pall bearer. It was the greatest fishing store in the world. Guys who are legends hung ther including Woolner, Daughnault, Garzinni. Tony Sharopo showed occasionally.
If I didn't have 15 surf rods from Murats I'd buy this rod in a second. $40.00 for a piece of history is sick. Rod is worth $200 all day. I just sold a Murat rod to a collector in NYC for $375.00

When i was a young Dude i remember murat on the beach fishing in the fifties. Passing by his shop in a truck later on in life i bought a conventional rod one Trip and a few years later i was looking for a fresh water spinning rod and bought Dave's personal rod because he didn,t have another on hand
