home coming gift

so i had a softball game on sunday night, and on my way home, pulling into my drive way i noticed a large assortment of emergency vehicles had taken up residence in my usual parking spot. i went to see the problem and found that my shed had burned down..... the shed wasnt that big of a deal becuase it was pretty beat down, but the contents really got to me. all of my saltwater rod and reel fishing stuff gone, air compressor, hose and all the hand tools i own, my deer stands, my kids car seat, trolling motor for the john boat, all yard tools and other assorted junk that meant less to me all perished in the flames. if i hadnt planed on diving right before my game, all my spearfishing stuff would have been in there as well..... fire sale anyone? lots of stuff real cheap

Ouch! Yes, hopefully insured. When (if) you get paid, we'll help you spend it.

The Good news, it was not your house and nobody injured or worse

I have a decent reel for long term loan should you need something - a little light on rods though I could scare up a 9 if needed.

well i rent from a good friends mom so never thought i would need the insurance......stupid me. they arent going to cover anything and her family is glad that the shed is gone they thought it was an eye sore. so that leaves me pretty SOL on all my stuff. gonna have to start over

and yea its a good thing no one was hurt. my truck was parked less than 15 feet away and our house is about the same distance. no one was home as everyone was at the game, a police officer that lives accoross the street saw the blaze over the top of our house and raced over with a fire extinguisher untill the calvalry got to the scene

I got a walmart reel (Monster Rock)you can have and maybe a few other odds and ends if you need some gear to get you by.No surf rods unless you could use a cheapo boat rod,can help in other departments if your in need and funds are tight like with everyone else.Used gear is better than no gear.Let me know if your interested I'm in your town.I'd be glad to help with some gear.

after much investigation, they decided it was a weed wacker that fell from the wall when the door was closed too hard, and onto a bag of fertalizer, dripping gas which then spontaniously ignited setting the shed ablaze
