$200 isn't going to buy you much sounder, let alone a decent transducer
For that budget, look used

I would go with the Lowrance, or the Eagle (which I believe is made by Lowrance). But like Ronnie said see if you could find a better used unit on Ebay, Craigslist, or another message board for boaters

If you can stretch the budget a bit - a new DS500X for $260 - currently the best value out there for <$300.

Multiply your budget by at least 3 or start looking for a used machine.

Check out Ebay for a Garmin 250C. Make sure you buy one with the dual frequency ducer.

It's a 500Watt color unit with a 50/200 ducer. There are a few places that sell this unit for $200 brand new in box.

Not to steal your post but I fished on a members boat yesterday that had this one. All I can say is wow. Would take up my whole dash area in my boat. Had about a 10" screen. Very cool unit. Don't even want to look at mine now.

That being said I have been very happy with my Raymarine DS500X, until I saw that one, but still above your target price. IMO save up for a better one as I started out with a budget one and was not satisfied and bought the one I have now.
